1958, Dauntless 23 motor launch, mahogany on oak frames, Nanni 14hp diesel installed around 10 years ago, Many thousands spent over the years on new deck, coachroof and engine, professionally repainted and re-varnished in 2017.
MECHANICAL
Nanni twin cylinder 14hp inboard diesel engine (approx 2008) with remote throttle controls. 6 gallon fuel tank. Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries. New water pump 2015. Shaft drive to bronze propeller. Engine hours around 70.
NAVIGATION
FM/AM radio, clock.
SAFETY
Two electric bilge pumps and one manual bilge pump.
DECK GEAR
Three part cockpit canopy in cream, overall fitted winter cover, 4 cockpit cushions, tiller, 15lb CQR main anchor with chain and new warp, 6 fenders.
DOMESTIC
Her galley has a 2 burner spirit cooker, stainless steel sink with water supply from separate containers. Red vinyl upholstery.

2 berths in a single open plan cabin.
OWNERS COMMENTS
"Mahala" is a stunning traditional motor launch. She was originally built by the Dauntless Yacht Company as a sailing yacht but in 2012/3 her keel box was professionally removed and she was professionally converted into a motor launch at a cost of over £12000. Since then she has berthed afloat in Tollesbury Marina during the summer months, coming ashore each winter and fully covered to protect the varnish. In 2017 she was repainted and revarnished by Tollesbury Marina. An amazing boat with bags of character! She currently lies afloat ready for viewing!
